Wet and Windy Wedding in Wellington

The weather beat us this time. We have been so lucky with the weather for this season so far, but alas was not to be so for Christopher and Isadora, however we didn’t let that stop us.

We love old churches especially big old churches, and St Mary’s of the Angels on Boulcott Street is no exception.

A beautiful high vaulted, opulent structure nestled quietly amongst Wellingtons CBD. Father Tom presided over the ceremony, after which a trip to Oriental Parade helped usher in some foul wind and gusty rain. The bridal party opted for bravery and it didn’t cause us to miss out on some cool photographs.

Oriental Parade is a favorite haunt for the bride and groom so it was only fitting that we went there. Everyone danced the night away at the boat shed to Sean Preston. A big thanks to the bridal party, Goose, Brent, Lydia and Theresia and a big hug to the bride and groom Chris and Isadora.
