Wet, Windy and Wild. A Windswept Wedding at Ohariu Farm and Makara

You would not be blamed in thinking that terrible weather would dampen the spirits of any couple getting married under Wellingtons’ notorious climate, but you would be mistaken with Leanne and Brendon. Nothing was going to bring their day down. Not even rain and a white satin wedding gown, a match NOT made in Heaven!

The Local Upper Hutt couple tied the knot at Ohariu farm, a fav venue for many. In front of a roaring fire and amongst friends and family the ceremony went without a hitch.
Brendon has a love for the outdoors especially hunting and fishing so a trip to Makara after the union was very cool for their bridal photos, even if there was a tempest howling. But some times you just have to do it!
The whitecaps were present but so was the romance.

Sean Preston directed the flow and beat on the floor after the reception formalities. My oh my, I am always so impressed with Seans undying passion for his art. What a singer and entertainer. Good for us, we like taking great dancing photos, so the music has to be good to get them.

Once again the gang at Ohario looked after everyone and a big thanks to the Bridal party Vickie, Ange, Amy and the little wild pair Brook and Kylie. Also well done to the guys, Graeme, Stephen and Brendon’s Son Conrad. Last but not least – a huge thanks to Leanne and Brendon for the honor of shooting you wedding, it was Funtastic!
